Headteacher Weekly Update – 23rd November 2018

Earlier this week children in Key Stage One and Key Stage Two welcomed a little dog called Milo into school.  Reading is always more enjoyable in a calm, relaxing atmosphere.  The children had especially chosen the books they wanted to read.  Milo listened attentively as he snuggled down beside the children.  This was a very enjoyable experience for all involved.

Yesterday the pupils in year one took part in the Frodsham and Villages multi skills activity.  The children were very keen to get involved and thoroughly enjoyed the event.  We are always very proud of our children; however, we were particularly proud to receive comments about their excellent behaviour.

Thank you to FoSL for all their hard work in arranging a very successful ‘Movie Night’, I spoke to a number of children today who said they had a great time.  Thank you also to all the staff who attended this event.  We also thank you as parents who supported this event, fundraising is always important but the enjoyment of the children is the priority.

As mentioned last week, today we had the official opening of our Activity Play Equipment.  Our Junior Leadership team cut the ribbon; this was with met with a big cheer of excitement from all of the children in Key Stage Two.

We are all looking forward to the Frodsham Festival this weekend; looking forward to seeing you there.  Have a lovely weekend.

Best wishes

Miss Murtagh
