Before and After School Care

Out of School Club

Latest Ofsted was February 2020 and we were rated GOOD with an OUSTANDING rating for behaviour and attitudes

March 2022

We are happy to announce that Lisa Hughes has joined St Luke’s Out of School Club as their new Manager. Lisa is a qualified level 3 and has 8 years of experience working with young children.

Opening times

Breakfast club is open from 7:30am until school drop offs and after school club from school collections until 6pm. School holiday Club runs in all school holidays and Inset Days from 8am-6pm daily.

This term (Spring 2022)

We are looking at upcoming Celebrations such as Mothers Day, World book day and Easter. We will enjoy a range of craft activities and physical activities outside. We will also discuss life cycles and enjoy planting seeds.

Next term (Summer 2022)

We will look at discussing our emotions and well being and talk about how/why things make us feel the way they do. We can use a variety of ways to do this e.g through craft activities, songs, stories, interactive displays.

Typical Day

When the children first arrive in the morning, they can choose from a variety of breakfast cereals or toast with a choice of milk or water to drink. They can then choose from a selection of resources and activities until school starts.

The afternoon we provide children with a healthy snack around 4pm. Which can contain a variety of bread, wraps and breadsticks etc with a piece of fruit, cucumber/carrot sticks. Children have their choice of resources and have access to activities either inside or outside.

Why choose St Luke’s OOSC?

As we are on site of St Luke’s Primary School it is a seamless transition from the start and end of school to the start of Out of School Club. Our staff take the children to their designated playground and feedback any information to the class teacher. Staff collect the children from their individual classrooms at the end of the school day and again any feedback on how the child has been is passed over by the teacher to be given to the parent at collection.
