September 2020 We are happy to announce that Kelly Farrell has joined St Luke’s Out of School Club as their new manager. Kelly has been with S4YC for nearly 2 years now and has over 20 years working within Early Years. Alongside a Degree in Early Childhood Studies Kelly has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all areas of children and development and Special Educational Needs.
Breakfast club is from 7:30am until school drop offs and after school club from school collections until 6pm. School holiday Club runs in all school holidays and Inset Days from 8am-6pm daily.
This term at OOSC (Autumn 2020) we are looking at physical and emotional wellbeing after the long break. The children will have the opportunity to make their own family tree, wellbeing jar and will be helped to come up with our club rules and getting to know new faces and the new routines. Lots of outdoor fun, sports, and special event nights
Next term at OOSC (Winter 2020) we will be starting to think about all the celebrations and events that will occur over the coming months. Spooky movies, firework actvivites and then Christmas celebrations
When the children first arrive in the morning, they can choose from a variety of breakfast cereals or toast. They then can choose from a selection of resources and activities from within their class bubble resources box until school starts.
The afternoon is again a choice of healthy snack with a piece of fruit and variety of bread, wraps and pancakes etc. Children spend time alongside their class bubble friends again, spend time outside or enjoy special events like Movie Night, Quiz and Bingo Night
Why choose St Luke’s OOSC?
As we are on site of St Luke’s Primary School it is a seamless transition from the start and end of school to the start of Out of School Club. Our staff take the children to their designated playground and feedback any information to the class teacher. Staff collect the children from their individual classrooms at the end of the school day and again any feedback on how the child has been is passed over by the teacher to be given to the parent at collection.
