There has been lots going on in school this week. On Tuesday class five presented their class assembly on the theme of creation and taking care of our planet. Thank you to the children and Miss Palmer for sharing.  Yesterday was a particularly busy day. In the morning our year six class attended Helsby High school along with other local Frodsham schools for the Big Maths morning.  This event was led by the Liverpool University Maths Department- this included problem solving activities and lots of teamwork. They came back full of enthusiasm.  Thank you to all who were involved in making this such a successful and enjoyable morning.

Key stage one attended the FaVSP multi skills yesterday. They had a wonderful time , Mr Taylor was very impressed by their sporting talent and their sense of teamwork.

Teamwork was  obviously the key word yesterday evening when our year four boys played in the the Ellesmere Port football finals. They narrowly missed the overall win.  We are extremely proud of each and every one of them.

Finally yesterday, we had yet another successful Movie Night, thank you to FoSL. The children enjoyed a good movie as well as the added treat of a 'chippy tea'. Thank you to all the parents involved and who work tirelessly to ensure these events are successful.

As I mentioned in my letter earlier this week, this has been Road Safety Week, again I remind you to be respectful of our neighbours when accessing the school,  taking consideration of the safety of all.
